Private Assisted Living Services

Assisted Living is a housing and support model for seniors that combines private, lockable suites with hospitality, support and care services.

Menno Assisted Living supports the dignity and independence of residents by respecting their personal choices, autonomy and privacy. These services are offered in our newest apartment buildings—Menno Terrace East and Primrose Gardens.

Subsidized Assisted Living is available by arrangement through Fraser Health. Private Assisted Living is available to residents who may not currently qualify for subsidized Assisted Living, and can be contracted on a private basis through Menno Housing.

Amenities and services:

  • Six-storey apartment building that includes up-to-date fire and safety systems; underground vehicle and scooter garage; suites with kitchen appliances, large bathroom with step-in shower, storage space and patio; resident lounges, wellness centre and hair salon.
  • 24-hour emergency response
  • 2 complete meals—lunch and supper—provided daily in Main Dining Room, plus continental breakfast
  • Personal Support Services: 24-hour staff response; personal care and support for scheduled and unscheduled needs; assistance with medications if required
  • Weekly light housekeeping
  • Weekly bed change and laundering of bed linens and towels (personal laundry extra)
  • Recreational activities
