Staff & Volunteers

It’s the “people” factor that makes the big difference at Menno Place.

Year after year, our staff and volunteers share their time, talents and friendship in a way that touches the lives of countless residents and their families. We’re reminded of that every time we hear words of heartfelt appreciation for extra effort made and kindness shown.

There are about 600 staff members (full-time, part-time and casual) employed at Menno Home, Hospital and Housing, with compensation aligned with industry standards.

We have a history of respecting choices made by various employee groups regarding their representation (union, staff association or otherwise), and we value the high degree of trust and cooperation we see at every level of the organization.

Our volunteers at Menno Place now number about 200, but we have room for many more! Some have signed up recently, while others have served our residents for over 30 years.
