Your Legacy For Generations
Caring for 27,500 seniors since 1953
Trusted by Four Generations
Caring for generations to come
Founded in 1953, Menno Place is a Campus of Care for 700 seniors. All levels of care are provided here, including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Long-Term Nursing Care.
Throughout the decades, Menno Place has been trusted to provide compassionate Christian care for vulnerable seniors. For four generations, Menno Place staff have cared for seniors with the compassionate love of Jesus Christ.
Legacy giving has enabled our campus of care to continue to grow and serve seniors by providing a bus, our Living Waters garden, the golf putting greens and much more.
As we move into building out the entire 11.5 acre property, Legacy giving will support a new Chapel and the redeveloped 364 person state-of-the-art long-term care home.
Your Legacy Gift is one of the most significant and lasting contributions that you can give to help those who come after you. We advise you to work on your gifting options with a lawyer as there are several options and each has its own tax advantage.
Please let us know when you plan a legacy gift for Menno Place. Knowing helps us to plan for the future and allows us to honour you in your lifetime.
You will be invited to join Family and Friends – Legacy Circle and will be acknowledged as you prefer. When you let us know about your legacy intention, we will send you a form that details the benefits of the Family and Friends – Legacy Circle.
In the words of Menno Simons, whose life and teachings inspired the formation of the Mennonites:
True evangelical faith is of such a nature it cannot lie dormant, but spreads itself out in all kinds of righteousness and fruits of love;… it seeks, serves and fears God in its inmost soul; it clothes the naked; it feeds the hungry; it comforts the sorrowful; it shelters the destitute; it aids and consoles the sad; …it seeks those who are lost; it binds up what is wounded; it heals the sick; it saves what is sound; it becomes all things to all people.
