Am I buying a cup of coffee for seniors? How does this work?
No, you’re not buying coffee. You’re donating the equivalent of a cup of coffee each month to Menno Place. Your monthly gift helps brighten the lives of seniors by supporting the areas of greatest need.
How can I invite a friend to become a Coffee Angel?
You can invite a friend personally, email them now, or—once you’ve finished signing up using the form above—a social media sharing tool will appear. It lets you post a Coffee Angel graphic and invite your friends to join you via Facebook or X.
What if I don’t want to use the online form or a credit card?
No problem! You can become a Coffee Angel by calling the Advancement Office at Menno Place at 604-851-3102, or by filling out the contact form here.
How can I stop or revise my recurring monthly donation to Menno Place?
To revise or stop your recurring donation to Menno Place, please contact the Menno Place Advancement Team. In your message include your full name, the email address associated with your donor account, and details about how you’d like to update your donation. The team will process your request and confirm once the recurring donation has been canceled.
Will I get a tax receipt if I sign up to be a Coffee Angel?
Yes! Menno Place issues tax receipts for total donations of $20 or more in a year. For example, if you give $5/month for 4 months—or $10/month for 2 months—you’ll qualify. Give $5/month for the full year, and you’ll receive a tax receipt for $60. Your donations are automatically tracked, and a single tax receipt for all your Coffee Angel giving will be emailed to you in early January.
