To Menno Place families, friends and residents,

We are deeply concerned with a situation that is under police investigation involving two residents who had been transferred from Menno Home to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Both individuals were experiencing medical emergencies that raised concerns for the medical staff. Sadly, on July 10^th, 2025, one of the residents passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families affected during this difficult time.

We have been fully supporting the police in their process as the safety and well-being of our residents remains our top priority. Upon becoming aware of the situation, we immediately implemented additional safety measures to keep your loved one safe.

As a long-standing part of the Abbotsford community, we remain dedicated to maintaining the trust that families have placed in us for generations.
