MBS Board of Directors
The Board of Directors are nominated and elected from the MBS Society Membership at the June Annual General Meeting.
New Directors may join the MBS Society Membership when they allow their name to stand for election.
We look for Directors who have:
- A personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Active participation in a Mennonite Church in British Columbia (MCBC, MCBC or Brethren in Christ)
- A commitment to lead with a servant heart
- A desire to use their God given gifts to ministry and service
- A willingness to advocate for MBS in the community it serves

A Governance Board Model
The Board of Directors steer the organization in a governance board model, providing their expertise and knowledge in order to ensure the society continues to follow the Mission, Vision and Values. Board members are bringing their thoughtfulness, wisdom, expertise and passion for this care in order to ensure the continuation of this work by the CEO and Executive Team Leaders.
