Menno Place launched the Celebrate Life Bench Donation Program in 2015 to offer a meaningful way for families to honour loved ones while enhancing life on campus for residents, visitors, volunteers, and staff.

These benches provide peaceful spots for rest, reflection, and connection—places to enjoy the outdoors, share memories, or simply pause.

Throughout the Menno Place campus, you’ll see benches donated in memory of parents, spouses, and friends. Some are given to commemorate a loved one’s life; others are gifted so a mom or dad living at Menno Place can enjoy a special place to sit and take in the view.

A donation of $3,800 provides a 4-foot bench and includes shipping, installation, and a personalized bronze plaque. This donation is fully tax-deductible.
