Good-bye and Thank you, Kathrin Friesen!
Kathrin Friesen has been a part of the Menno Place community for the past 8 months. She is participating in The International Volunteer Exchange Program (IVEP) that is run by the Mennonite Central Committee. Along with many others from around the world, Kathrin joined in this yearlong work and cultural exchange that supports opportunities for young, Christian adults.
Kathrin hails from Brazil and looks forward to the next phases of her life journey. She brought music, devotions, faith, friendship and laughter to the community here at Menno Place. Her bright smile, kind heart and willing attitude will continue to bless those who have the privilege of walking life alongside Kathrin. We are grateful for the time we were able to share with her here at Menno Place. Blessings in your future and know that you are always welcome here in Canada!
Kathrin’s farewell is on Tuesday, July 7 at 2:30pm in the Courtyard.

Elementary School Children Gardening Program
What an exciting time for residents of Menno Place to share their knowledge of gardening with the elementary school class from Alexander Elementary School. The children planted potted plants together with residents – from tomatoes to petunias, the pots were prepared.
