Menno Place at the Vancouver Sun Run

This past weekend, members of the Menno Place team came together to walk and run in the Vancouver Sun Run, proudly representing our organization in both spirit and action.

Participating in the Sun Run was about more than completing a route; it was an opportunity to care for well‑being, strengthen relationships, and contribute to the wider community. Through preparation, encouragement, and teamwork, our staff built meaningful camaraderie and demonstrated the importance of caring for the bodies and gifts entrusted to us.

As a team, they showed how shared goals can bring people together in positive and life‑giving ways. Their participation reflected values that guide our work at Menno Place each day: stewardship, respect through mutual support, excellence through their dedication, and encouragement by motivating each other. By taking part in this community event, they reminded us that caring extends beyond our workplace and into the broader community we are called to support.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated. Your commitment, preparation, and willingness to lead by example are truly inspiring. You represented Menno Place with dedication, joy, and heart.

Thank you for reminding us that when we move together with purpose and care, we strengthen both ourselves and our community.
